VCSi recently sent a number of its executive staff to the HITS conference in Washington D.C. The HITS conference is hosted by Police K9 Magazine and is the largest K-9 conference in the United States. VCSi’s International Operations Manager Greg Wrigley and Director of Business Intelligence Shaun Hoover were in attendance to meet K-9 handlers and K-9 commanders and answer questions they had regarding our (LEP) Law Enforcement Program for K-9 Services.
Ron Cloward, VCSi’s Director of Law Enforcement Services was at this year’s conference to teach two classes. He taught a class on proper use of K-9 Muzzle Training and K-9 Handler Selection and training for non-K9 Administrative Personnel. VCSi’s new Director of Training Programs, Bob Eden was also a class instructor teaching a K-9 Learning Concepts class at this year’s conference.
VCSi would like to thank Police K9 Magazine for hosting such a successful conference. It was great to be a part of this K-9 conference especially when it was held in such an exciting venue like our nation’s capital. We are looking forward to being in attendance at the 2012 Hits Conference in Seattle, Washington.
