VCSI will be hosting a three day Human Remains Detection Dog Training Seminar with Master Trainer Jonni Joyce in Red Bluff, California, December 2-4, 2011.
Practical exercises will include open area searches, building searches, and vehicle searches. Instruction will be given in leash handling, proper search patterns, scenario based search strategy, scent pool recognition, eliminating human cueing behavior, independent final response behaviors, industry standard training requirements and records keeping, as well as court case review.
Single blind and double blind scenarios will be available to the student.

Cost: $400 per Handler and Dog Team. (class will be limited to 12 full participants)
Host Hotel: Gaia Hotel in Anderson, CA. (Nightly Rate: $75 per night). Please call for hotel reservations: 877-778-3977, mention you are with VCSi when you call to ensure you receive the corporate rate.There is no additional charge for service animals.
Observers: Are welcome to attend the training event at the cost of $150 or $50 per day.
