Kandahar, Afghanistan (March, 15, 2011) Vigilant Canine Services International LLC, (VCSi) an international canine services company, has been awarded a military commendation for their continued support and performance while providing K-9 services support to coalition forces in Afghanistan. Members of the VCSi Team, along with the company received the commendations from Brigadier General Jeffery Kendall Commander Kandahar Airfield, at an awards ceremony held at the COMKAF-VCSi kennel complex at Kandahar Airfield.

Brigadier General Jeffery Kendall commended the performance and continued K-9 services support being provided by VCSi personnel in support of military efforts and issued commendations to members of the VCSi team.

Our current members are true professionals, working long hours, in some of the most extreme weather and unstable conditions on earth. I am very proud of our members and their performance continues to amaze me on a daily basis. VCSi has been supporting the freedom efforts in Afghanistan since 2007 and is currently one of the largest providers of detection dog teams for private security and military in the Afghanistan.
